Assalamu alaykum, I recently travelled to Bosnia with Summaya (HTG) during Ramadan, and I can honestly say it was one of the most impactful and meaningful experiences of my life. From the very beginning, the trip was beautifully organised and thoughtfully planned. Travelling during Ramadan made it even more special, and I truly feel like I was able to experience the month in a deeper and more meaningful way. Learning about Bosnia’s history, especially the genocide, was incredibly moving. What touched me most was the resilience of the people, the way they carry themselves with such dignity, strength, and iman, without anger. It was both humbling and inspiring, and it gave me a completely new perspective. The sense of community throughout the trip was something I’ve never experienced before. There was such a strong feeling of connection, not just with the group but also with the local people. It’s something that’s hard to put into words, but it stays with you. I want to give a special thank you to the amazing team Summaya, Sami, Deno, Nadeem, Malissa, Gia, and everyone working behind the scenes. You truly made this experience unforgettable. Your care and attention to detail really stood out. Even something as simple as accommodating my food preferences showed how much effort you put into making everyone feel comfortable and looked after. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. To anyone thinking about booking a trip with Summaya, don’t think twice. I would strongly encourage you to go. It’s not just a trip, it’s a life changing experience that will stay with you long after you return. My 6 day trip to Bosnia from start to finish was incredible! The tour was incredibly well-organized, allowing us to see hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Both our guides, Nadim and Dino, were fantastic and full of local, personal and precise historical information. The sights were so mesmerising and the country so welcoming. Every detail was planned out, from hotels to meals, making the whole trip seamless and stress-free. I had lots of free time to do my own thing and wonder around whilst being looked after by our guides. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make me feel a part of a family. I had the most incredible and spiritually uplifting experience visiting Bosnia during Ramadan. From start to finish, the trip felt truly blessed, as if everything and everyone was handpicked for this journey. The people, culture, and environment were inspiring—the locals are humble and kind, with a remarkable resilience shaped by their history. The muqabala, with its majestic recitations and the sight of men, women, and children gathered with a kitab on their laps, was unforgettable and left a permanent mark on my heart. I also felt completely accepted and welcomed by everyone in the group, which made the experience even more special. Also, the accommodations were surprisingly spacious—my hotel room in Mostar was bigger than my apartment in Sweden! I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a meaningful, immersive, and spiritually enriching experience. Truly a journey I will never forget.

It was one of my best ever experiences visiting Jordan with Halal Travel Guide and everything was well planned and the guides were very knowledgeable the accommodations at each place was excellent and the food was super delicious. We had enough time to travel different places and our group members were just like a family. Jordan is a wonderful and blessed place and the people are very friendly and their cuisine is superb. The places of interest are worth visiting like Petra and Wadi e Rum and Aqaba and mount Nebu.
