Such a well balanced trip. It had a little bit of everything: culture, history, faith, natural beauty and adventure. Have recommended to everyone and would definitely travel with them again.

When I booked this trip, I thought I was simply signing up for a holiday. What I didn’t realise was that it would turn into something far deeper and more meaningful. This wasn’t just sightseeing – it was an immersion into Bosnia’s history, culture, and people, and it left a lasting impression on me. The theme that runs through the whole journey is authenticity. Every day we met and spoke with Bosnian locals, hearing their stories first-hand. Some were deeply moving, especially when people relived their personal experiences of the war. These weren’t distant, abstract accounts you’d read in a textbook – they were raw, human, and told in a way that was both tangible and digestible. It gave me a perspective I couldn’t have gained anywhere else. The itinerary itself was brilliantly thought out – diverse enough to give you a flavour of Bosnia’s key cities and sites, but also filled with personalised experiences that made each day unique. It struck a perfect balance between history, culture, and natural beauty, all delivered in a way that felt well-organised and seamless. What really stood out for me was how much I learned about Islamic history in Bosnia. To see the strength of faith and resilience in the people, despite everything they’ve endured, was humbling. I left in awe of their courage, their hospitality, and their warmth. Bosnia is a country that truly deserves far more recognition and visitors than it currently receives. And then there’s the country itself – absolutely stunning. From its mountains and rivers to its historic towns and vibrant culture, Bosnia has a beauty that takes your breath away. Combined with the kindness of its people, it makes for a destination that stays with you long after you return home. This trip wasn’t just a holiday; it was an important journey – one that broadened my understanding, touched my heart, and left me inspired. I met amazing people along the way and feel this experience was a perfect introduction to Bosnia. If you’re considering it, don’t hesitate – go. You’ll come back changed, in the best possible way.

Overall, the trip was amazing. It was my first time travelling with HTG and, inshaAllah, I will be a returning customer. Arnie and Yatt, our tour guides, were outstanding – they looked after us with such care. Thank you, HTG, for organising this wonderful tour. I do believe there is always room for improvement, and I would like to share a few suggestions with the sole purpose of helping you enhance your services: 1. Communication before the trip – My initial communication with Gia was quite stressful. At times, I even considered cancelling the trip because responses took days to arrive. Perhaps it was just my lack of experience as a first-time customer of HTG, but in the service industry, prompt communication is essential. 2. First day in Singapore – After landing, our guide took us on a long walking tour across nearly all the terminals. We were tired, and a short visit to the Vortex would have been enough. It seemed he was trying to fill the time until hotel check-in, but more thoughtful choices could be made in the future. For example, taking us straight to a hawker centre was not ideal. Most of us did not have cash, and instead of directing us to an ATM at the airport, we were taken to one inside the wet market next to the hawker centre, which was crowded and unpleasant. The hawker centre itself was very hot and overwhelming for a first stop after a long flight. It might have been better suited for a dinner experience on the second day, while the first day could have been spent in a restaurant that accepts card payments. 3. Hotels – The hotel selection was generally excellent, but Royal Chulan was disappointing. It is in clear need of renovation, not properly maintained, and the staff appeared unhelpful. 4. Local guide in Kuala Lumpur – Rose, our KL guide, was kind, but I think it would be more enriching to have a scholar instead – someone who could share insights into Malaysia’s Islamic history, its scholars, and their contributions. Personally, I find that my travels gain much more value when I can learn about the Islamic history of the places I visit. Aside from these suggestions, the trip was beautifully organised, and I always felt safe and well looked after. Once again, thank you to everyone who made this experience so memorable.

We just did their Bosnia trip (November 2024). The trip was one of the best trips we have had in a while ! It is well organized and headache free. They take care of everything - food, transport and of course intenrary. The guides are all local to the cities we visited which makes them the best of guides: knowledgeable and dedicated. They are all very polite with a great sense of humor (although I suspect all Bosnians are). The other amazing part of this trip is its variety - it included history, nature, good food and shopping! All in 7 days without feeling too cramped ! Bosnia in my opinion is a must see and I would do it with halal travel guide again if I had the chance !
