Today you’ll walk on the very same land where some of the most blessed people have lived. Our local guide will take you a few miles north-west of Amman, where lies the ancient town of As-Salt. It's thought to have been built by Alexander the Great's army over 300 years before the birth of Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him.

It's in and around Salt that many significant figures in Islamic history - along with - Judeo-Christian traditions, once lived.

Prophet Shuaib (Jethro), Prophet Yusha (Joshua), and Prophet Ayyub (Job) all have marked burial grounds that you’ll visit today. You’ll then be taken to visit the final resting places of some of the closest Companions to the Prophet ﷺ and learn more about their lives and stories.

One of the most revered sites in Jordan, Mount Nebo is believed to be the spot where Prophet Musa once stood overlooking the Jordan River towards Palestine. From Mount Nebo you’ll be taken to Kerak where you’ll visit the site of the Battle of Mutah, the fiercest battle fought during Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ life. This battle took the lives of his closest companions, martyred fighting against a combined Byzantine/Ghassanid army. You’ll visit the tombs of the venerable companions Zaid Ibn Harithah, Ja'far Ibn Abi Talib, and Abdullah Ibn Ruwahah in the town of Al-Mazar Al-Janubi.

10 km east of Amman lies Kahf al Raqeem, the Cave of the Seven Sleepers. Mentioned in both the Quran and Christian historical texts, this is believed to be the cave where a group of pious youths once took refuge from a despotic ruler persecuting believers.

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and celebrated as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Petra stands as a testament to the architectural prowess and ingenuity of the ancient Nabateans.

Our knowledgeable local guide will lead you through the winding siqs, past the iconic Treasury and deeper into the heart of this rose-red city, sharing tales of its rich past, its rediscovery, and its significance in the annals of history. As you navigate the sprawling archaeological site, marvel at the intricate rock-cut facades, temples, and tombs that dot the landscape.

Following the guided tour, you'll have ample opportunity to venture off the beaten path. Delve further into Petra’s hidden corners, climb to higher viewpoints for panoramic vistas, or simply sit and reflect on the ambiance of this awe-inspiring location. Overnight in Petra

Today you’ll drive around 1.5 hours from Petra to Wadi Rum, where you'll explore the red sands of Wadi Rum on an adrenaline-inducing 4x4 safari ride through the desert.  

Our local Bedouin guide will take you through the red sands of Wadi Rum to explore this Mars-like landscape. We'll then head back to the camp for a traditional lunch.  

You have the option to join our sunset camel ride before we spend the evening sharing stories and enjoying Bedouin tea around the campfire. 

Nestled at the northeastern tip of the Red Sea, Aqaba is Jordan's only coastal city and a beacon of relaxation and adventure. With its strategic location, Aqaba has a rich history that dates back to ancient times, serving as a key port and trading hub. Today, the city seamlessly blends its historical allure with modern attractions, making it a must-visit destination for travelers.

Yes, there's actually a place in Jordan nicknamed Hungry People Street because of all the great eateries you can find there. This morning we'll take you back to Amman where you have the day free to explore at your own leisure. 

We'll give you a list of recommendations about where to eat, including where to find the best kunefe!

After breakfast, we’ll take you back to Queen Alia International Airport for your return flight home.
